We prioritize excellent care and services for both clients and children, ensuring the successful growth of the company. To maintain this pace, we are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team.
The RoleAs the Chef Supervisor, you will assist with operational and financial responsibility for your school's catering facility, focusing on delivering high-quality food and service. You will have the flair, originality, and ability to make this one of the best school catering offers in the area.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, developing, coaching, training, and motivating the kitchen team
- Assisting with catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
- Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to students and staff
- Driving sales through monthly promotions and added-value events
- Overseeing menu development
- Maintaining company systems and procedures, and legislation
- Carrying out regular audits to ensure standards are being met
We are seeking someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools, with the following skills and experience:
- Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
- Supervisory experience
- Experience within a similar environment
We offer fantastic hours, working Monday to Friday during school term time, allowing for more time with friends and family. This role is:
- 30 hours per week, with no late nights
- Working 38 weeks per year, based around term time
- £13 per hour
