About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Specialist to join our pastoral team at Future Education. As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments, and providing strategic input into school-wide behaviour policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualised Behaviour Support Plans to support students with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with class teams and Behaviour and Pastoral Support Officers to ensure a cohesive approach to behaviour management.
  • Monitor and analyse whole-school behaviour using CPOMS to inform data-driven decision making.
  • Lead Maybo training sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in behaviour support.
  • Support the transition of new students with behavioural needs to ensure a smooth integration into the school community.
  • Attend and contribute to Education Health and Care Plan Annual Reviews and Child in Need Meetings to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans to drive positive change in student behaviour.
  • Strong knowledge of function-based intervention planning to inform behaviour support strategies.
  • Experience in SEN education or residential provision to understand the complexities of supporting students with special needs.
  • Ability to present data effectively and train staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
