Job Title: Night Shift Transport Manager

At Wincanton Trans European Limited, we are seeking an experienced Night Shift Transport Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Transport Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our Transport team, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the workload of Transport colleagues to optimize utilization and capability.
  • Deliver great service to our customers, demonstrating leadership that promotes an inclusive culture and generates high levels of trust.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day Transport team and activities, including resource allocation, capability, and utilization.
  • Monitor and implement compliance across Transport Operations activities.
  • Operate within legislation, policy, and process in all matters ranging from people management to safety, health, and environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Transport Operations and management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results.
