Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Area Camden. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, social, and emotional well-being of the children and young people in our care.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents during nighttime hours. This will involve ensuring their safety and welfare, engaging in activities with them, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to communicate effectively with out-of-hours services and respond to emergencies as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide overnight care and support to children and young people in our residential homes
- Ensure the safety and welfare of residents during nighttime hours
- Engage in activities with residents to promote their physical, social, and emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities
- Communicate effectively with out-of-hours services and respond to emergencies as needed
- Experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding children and young people
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to colleagues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow policies and procedures
