Accounts Receivable / Credit Control Specialist – German Speaker

Position Overview:
Join our dynamic EMEA Shared Service Centre in the UK, where we have a diverse team of approximately 250 professionals across Finance, Credit & Collections, and Supply Chain. Our centre supports over 20 countries and operates in around 40 languages, making it a vital part of SC Johnson's global operations.
Ideal Candidate:
We welcome candidates with various levels of experience. Ideally, you should have a background in finance, whether through formal education or previous roles in accounts receivable.
Role Responsibilities:
This position is integral to the Customer Financial Services department, focusing on managing collections and credit management processes in alignment with departmental KPIs.
Team Overview:
The Customer Financial Services (CFS) team plays a crucial role in supporting commercial operations across the EMEA region, addressing their needs in Collections, Resolutions, Cash Allocation, and Pricing.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Fostering and enhancing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Overseeing customer rebates and promotional billing
- Conducting detailed investigations into pricing and logistics claims
- Mitigating the risk of bad debts through effective credit management practices
- Performing monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and preparing month-end reports
Required Experience:
- Proficiency in both English and German
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within an accounting or AR context
- Intermediate skills in Excel and Outlook
