Babcock International Group is a leading provider of critical, complex engineering services. We're seeking an Electrical Engineer Trainer to join our team at our Gosport site.

The Role

As an Electrical Engineer Trainer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality training in Electrical & Electronic principles to our international defence customers. You'll work closely with our training team to develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training in Electrical & Electronic principles in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan Training Standing Operating Procedures
  • Assist in maintaining and updating training documentation
  • Assess student course work and provide feedback on performance
  • Ensure Company security, health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times

Essential Experience:

  • Previous knowledge in the application of electrical and electronic theoretical and practical instruction to phase two and three Electrical Engineering courses with an awareness of Electrical Theory, Electrical Safety, Power and Distribution, High Voltage, Electrical Test Equipment and Electrical Maintenance
  • Consolidated experience or directly employed electrical and electronic engineering principles
  • Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace

Qualifications:

  • Qualified academically or vocationally to a minimum of Level three engineering in relevant subject matter

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
