Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at T E K Seating. As an HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our human resources department and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in resolving workplace issues.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
    • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • Compliance and Policy Implementation:
    • Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development:
    • Support training initiatives by coordinating schedules and materials.
    • Assist in identifying training needs and opportunities for employee development.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or equivalent), Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in an HR role or administrative position is an advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of HR principles and employment laws.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
