Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Design Engineer to join our Engineering Department in Glasgow. As a Graduate Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing Balmoral products from initial concept to production, assisting with the development of custom design software, and managing engineering data using engineering data management software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Balmoral products from initial concept to production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist with the development of custom design software to improve product design and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Manage engineering data using engineering data management software to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, with a preference for Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of 3-D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
Desirable Skills
  • Competence in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Knowledge of CAD software and drawing standards.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Software, including Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault.
