About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable nurse to join our team as a Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of current practice and the ability to work autonomously and independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the keyworker to all suspected and diagnosed Head & Neck cancer patients, providing holistic patient-centred assessment and care.
- Provide psychological support and care, advice, and information for patients and carers/families.
- Support the development and provision of the Head & Neck cancer nursing service, working as part of the multi-disciplinary team, across the Trust.
- Act as a resource and advise health and social care personnel on any aspects of patients' therapeutic programmes of care.
