The Role: Security Content Developer
We are seeking a skilled Security Content Developer to join our dynamic Security Monitoring team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our security monitoring capabilities are both effective and efficient. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining content for our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SIEM content to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
- Collaborate with security analysts to understand evolving threats and implement appropriate content updates.
- Support and maintain our SIEM tools, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and integration with other security solutions.
- Leverage scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and integration with SIEM APIs.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in SIEM content development and administration.
- In-depth understanding of security operations, threat landscapes, and detection methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, particularly Splunk and cloud-native SIEMs like Azure Sentinel or Google Chronicle.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash, along with experience in SIEM API integrations.
