Salary: £23,615 per annum/pro rata

Main Duties

As a Clinical Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring patients receive high-quality clinical care and a good patient experience. You will work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent customer care skills and being flexible to be assigned to any areas specified by management.

You will be trained to use our documentation system, EPR, and will be expected to work with the team to triage patients and facilitate the waiting room. You will also be required to complete the Care Certificate Programme within a specified 6-month period.

Person Specification

Qualifications:

  • Evidence of a General Education (e.g. GCSE's or equivalent)
  • NVQ 2 in Healthcare/QCF Diploma in Health Level 2 or equivalent in area of speciality or an equivalent level of working experience within a similar role

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and experience of taking clinical observations
  • Knowledge of Manual Handling of patients, using lifting aids

Experience:

  • Some experience of working as a Healthcare Assistant in a Hospital or Registered Care setting
  • Customer Care Experience

Skills:

  • Good hygiene skills (e.g. hand washing etc)
  • Ability to project a professional manner and approach
