Position Overview

We are seeking a Murex Quantitative Analyst to support a prominent investment banking institution in various upcoming initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

Academic Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Economics
  • Advanced degree in Financial Products, Risk Management, or Quantitative Finance
Professional Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent and continuous experience in the methodological setup of Murex
  • Demonstrated ability to replicate Murex calculations in Excel (including P&L, Sensitivities, PLVA)
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in Spanish and English, particularly in written communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and proactive work ethic
  • Exceptional collaboration and teamwork capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and oversee Murex methodologies to ensure precise financial modeling
  • Replicate Murex calculations in Excel to facilitate financial analysis and reporting
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to devise and execute quantitative strategies
  • Offer expert insights and solutions to intricate financial challenges
