About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Murex Business Analyst to join our team at FD Technologies. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams on Murex implementation and configuration
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Murex
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Business Analyst within IT/finance
  • Demonstrable experience of working across the full project lifecycle
  • Demonstrable experience of documentation of analysis outputs
  • Strong ability to capture detailed requirements and maintain traceability throughout all phases of a project
  • Experience in translating business requirements into functional requirements
  • Experience of running workshops and engaging with stakeholders at different levels of seniority
  • Ability to liaise with testing teams and manage the testing lifecycle, including defect management
  • Cross-asset experience
  • Murex experience across either: Back Office (Accounting, Payments, Workflow, Clearing) or Front Office (Equities, Commodities, Fixed Income, Credit, FXMM, FX Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives) or Risk (Market Risk, VaR, PnL, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk) or Regulations
  • Technical skills including Unix, Shell Scripting, SQL, Interfaces would be an additional bonus
