Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
You will use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair light / heavy goods vehicles, and have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.
About YouWe are looking for a qualified mechanic with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. You will have a valid UK driving licence, preferably an HGV licence with trailer experience, and be able to work on a flexible shift rota.
You will take pride in your work and do what is necessary to make sure the job is done effectively. You will be flexible to service demands and always willing to support your team where necessary.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, plus a shift allowance of £84.06 per week when working the 13:30 - 22:00 shift. You may also be eligible for a welcome bonus of £1,500*. You will have 22.5 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays), rising with service and with the option to purchase more.
