About You

We are seeking a driven and accomplished Data Scientist with a strong foundation in computational statistics and machine learning. You possess multiple years of industry experience, having successfully implemented statistical and machine learning techniques in production environments. You understand the complexities of optimizing data pipelines and applications. While prior experience in the biomedical sector is beneficial, it's not essential. Your passion lies in impactful work that makes a tangible difference.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy cutting-edge ML models using Python.
  • Conduct in-depth statistical analysis on diverse, multi-modal datasets.
  • Manage code effectively within a production environment.
  • Optimize and scale existing data pipelines for enhanced efficiency.
  • Contribute to academic publications, advancing the field of knowledge.

Your Skills

  • Proficiency in Python at a production level.
  • Excellent communication and data visualization skills.
  • Deep understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques; experience with Computer Vision is a valuable asset.
  • Familiarity with commonly used data science libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Fastai) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable working with git, bash, and adhering to best coding practices.
  • Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Batch) would be beneficial.

Your Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in statistics, data science, or a related field.
