About the Role

Gap Technical Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to join their Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production hall, process plant, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to breakdown situations and perform planned preventative maintenance and shutdowns.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Production Team Leaders, and the Engineering Team to drive continuous improvement and performance enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Engineering Manager and Production Team Leaders.
  • Work as part of a three-man team to cover the entire production hall, process plant, and services.
  • Hold a HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in a packaging environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical, automation, and PLC software, ideally Siemens S7.
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure situations with minimal supervision.
