Export Manager / Supervisor

We are pleased to be partnered with an established & growing forwarder in the Essex area who are seeking an experienced Export Manager / Supervisor to join their team:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of Incoterms to ensure accurate and efficient export operations.
  • Liaise with overseas agents and shipping lines to negotiate rates and provide quotations to customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and manage bookings, invoicing, and essential documents such as BL, EUR1, COO, CIPL, etc.
  • Manage customs clearance, including experience with CDS, CNS, Destin8, and raising entries for both imports and exports.
  • Coordinate LCL/FCL sea freight, airfreight, road freight, and courier services, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  • Act as a Key Account Manager for specific customers, handling all aspects of their shipments and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Negotiate competitive rates with hauliers and manage job counts, profits, and job targets.
