**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Assistant to join our client's business on a part-time, permanent basis. This role will be worked over 2 days a week, amounting to 16 hours. Initially, you will work from home until our offices in Sevenoaks are complete.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage bank accounts for the group's businesses
  • Run and manage payroll
  • Prepare VAT and Corporation returns
  • Prepare and process group payment runs
  • Handle purchase/sales invoices from external clients
  • Prepare year-end accounts for auditing
  • Work alongside external accountants to ensure all liability is met for the group
  • Liaise with HMRC for all businesses
  • Implement and manage a new finance system to streamline the group's financial data
  • Issue weekly cash position reports

**Requirements:**

  • Previous accounts experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work autonomously from a home office environment
