Job Summary:

The Greenwich Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Manager to lead and develop the Reablement Service. The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult social care and a proven track record of managing teams and developing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Reablement Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to residents of Greenwich.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service outcomes and meet the needs of the community.
  • Supervise and support a team of Independent Living Assessors, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete assessments and provide effective interventions.
  • Collaborate with other teams and services to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery.
  • Ensure that all Reablement interventions follow a strength-based approach, enabling residents to meet their desired outcomes and enhance their quality of life.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in adult social care, with a focus on reablement and rehabilitation.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and developing services.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and service users.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
