Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work 1:1 with children who have SEN such as ADD, ADHD, or other learning difficulties. They will create fun and creative learning resources while developing children's understanding and use phonics to aid speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work 1:1 with children who have SEN
  • Create learning resources and develop children's understanding
  • Use phonics to aid speech and language development
  • Work with class teachers in lessons to support children with SEN
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • School admin and CMIS system experience
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Two relevant professional references
