About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Development Manager to join our team at Aviva Insurance Limited. As a key member of our Risk Management function, you will play a critical role in supporting and contributing to our 1st line Risk management strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Horizon Scanning: Develop and manage the delivery of Aviva's horizon scanning and regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on Consumer Duty outcomes.
  • Regulatory Guidance: Provide appropriate and effective regulatory guidance to Aviva Insurance Limited and relevant subsidiaries.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with local market departments and Group to facilitate a thorough understanding of their regulatory needs.
  • Regulatory Projects: Provide first line input to regulatory projects and working groups as required.
Requirements
  • Regulatory Background: A background in Regulatory or Financial Services is essential.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: A strong knowledge of the FCA's Consumer Duty and outcomes monitoring and knowledge of FCA handbook standards, relevant insurance regulation and associated industry bodies / codes.
  • Leadership Skills: Be comfortable leading on key regulatory developments.
  • Communication Skills: Be able to translate and disseminate complex regulation into meaningful actions for the business.
  • Time Management: Time management / prioritisation skills - you will often need to deliver content / messaging for senior stakeholders on tight timescales.
