We are seeking a Medical Information Specialist with German language skills to join our Medical Communications department at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

As a Medical Information Specialist, you will be responsible for providing accurate and non-promotional information regarding our client's medicinal products or devices to healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and document medical information enquiries through various communication channels
* Triage and respond to medical enquiries using client-approved resources
* Identify, capture, report, and follow up on adverse events and product complaints in compliance with established timelines and organizational, client, and regulatory guidelines
* Maintain and demonstrate advanced knowledge of project and corporate policies and procedures
* Attend team and client meetings
* Perform assigned peer quality reviews
* Perform other ad-hoc activities according to PPD and client procedures

Requirements

* A degree in a medical-related field or life science degree (Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Biology)
* Fluency in German verbal and written
* Great communication skills in English
* Capability to efficiently use computer systems (hardware and software)
* Organizational and time management skills
* Attention to detail
* Customer service-oriented - compassionate, empathetic, patient
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Ability to maintain a positive and professional manner in challenging circumstances
