Job Purpose:
The Product Management team is responsible for executing product strategy, prioritizing and aligning roadmaps, and researching and defining enhancements and upgrades to Global Relay services. As a Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our services solve important and urgent market problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning and coordination for the delivery of cross-team initiatives, working with product management on scope and component teams on delivery approach and phasing.
- Compile work estimates and planning assumptions, socializing overall target milestones with component teams.
- Identify and coordinate cross-component and cross-product line dependencies throughout the development life cycle, tracking key project gates to completion.
- Work closely with component teams and integration testing environments to ensure readiness and effective alignment/co-ordination across teams.
- Proactively identify and manage delivery risks in accordance with Global Relay's risk management framework.
- Track progress against target completion dates using Jira and other tools, resolving issues that impact plans.
- Report on progress at project-specific and company-wide meetings, in accordance with Global Relay's project and program management framework.
- Acquire a high-level understanding of product design, business logic, and technical architecture, becoming a subject matter expert for priority initiatives.
- Provide guidance and assistance in resolving issues and removing roadblocks, offering input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full lifecycle software development project management experience, including planning, monitoring, managing risks and issues, and reporting on project status.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid development methodologies, driving cross-team initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals, possessing strong organizational, planning, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Experience with SaaS, messaging platform(s), or data integration for enterprise markets is desirable.
