Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and select suppliers for construction materials and equipment
  • Compare prices, terms, and delivery options from different suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site
  • Track inventory levels and order materials as needed
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to identify purchasing needs
  • Analyze market trends and make recommendations for improving purchasing processes
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that may arise
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in construction procurement
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
  • Knowledge of construction materials and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred
