Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team at Reed Property & Construction. Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager, this role is ideal for someone with experience in both domestic and commercial settings, preferably within educational or healthcare settings. The successful candidate will be proactive, capable of working independently or alongside other tradespersons, and committed to maintaining high standards of electrical safety and efficiency.

The successful candidate will independently manage and complete electrical works to programme, using initiative and adhering to all relevant technical standards and best practices. They will identify and deliver the appropriate response to maintenance requests in a professional and sympathetic manner, aligning with the organisation's needs. They will ensure all electrical works comply with relevant statutes, current technical standards, and best practices. They will participate in on-call duties to address urgent maintenance needs.

Experience in both domestic and large commercial installations, preferably in a School, University, FE College, or NHS environment, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and respond appropriately to maintenance needs are also required. Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage and complete electrical works to programme

Requirements:
