About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, proactive, and efficient HR support to Managers and Staff within the Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the HR Advisory team to provide specialist advice on all employment matters relating to staff.
  • Provide a comprehensive, pragmatic, and well-informed Human Resource Management support service to Managers and Staff.
  • Work in the People Absence and Wellbeing Support (PAWS) team, focusing on providing wellbeing advice and support to colleagues and managers on workforce-related themes.
  • Carry a case load of long and short-term sickness and provide advice on terms and conditions of employment.

Person SpecificationQualifications
  • Educated to NVQ Level III or equivalent experience, plus additional experience in HR.
  • Commitment to achieving CIPD Qualification.
Experience
  • Experience of working in a HR role.
  • Experience of working without direct supervision.
  • Awareness of HR policies and procedures, HR best practice, employment legislation, and equal opportunities issues.
