Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Supermarket Assistant to join our team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our supermarket.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Replenish stock, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that all products are accurately priced and displayed.
  • Process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is desirable.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
