Job Role:
- Support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils, specifically but not limited to 1:1 SEN support, including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those with physical, emotional, or learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with special needs.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- Maths and English at GCSE C or Level 2 functional skills is essential.
- A teaching assistant or SEN-based qualification would be advantageous.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to motivate and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
