Role ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Engage with young individuals aged 11-16 who exhibit SEMH needs.
- Utilize a therapeutic approach to foster positive relationships and support students in overcoming their emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a nurturing environment conducive to learning.
- Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A background in Teaching Assistance, Mental Health, Childcare, or Youth Work.
- Confidence and experience in managing challenging behaviors.
- A strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable and disengaged young people.
This is a full-time position with working hours from 08:30 to 15:30, Monday through Friday. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
