**About the Role**

Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled Associate to join our Healthcare Division in Birmingham, Cambridge, or Sheffield. As a Clinical Negligence Associate, you will work on NHS Resolution clinical negligence claims and inquests, providing expert advice and representation to clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Advise NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts, and medical malpractice insurers on EL/PL and clinical negligence claims
  • Represent clients at inquests and judicial reviews
  • Provide health law advice and regulatory matters
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement strategies for client engagement and business development

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years' experience as a UK Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified with relevant experience
  • Previous claims and inquest experience
  • Previous client contact and attendance at business development events
  • Knowledge of insurance and coverage issues
