The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant with a focus on 1:1 support with speech and language difficulties. They will also have knowledge of speech and language development and familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders and difficulties.

The successful candidate will provide targeted support and intervention to help students overcome communication barriers and reach their full potential. They will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant with a focus on 1:1 support with speech and language difficulties in a Primary School Setting.
  • Knowledge of speech and language development and familiarity with a range of speech and language disorders and difficulties.
  • A genuine passion for the well-being and academic progression of the students.
