Salary Range: £26,468 - £30,040 per annum
Location: Clifton/Hybrid
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
As a Payroll Officer at Nottingham Community Housing Association, you will play a crucial role in a dedicated team responsible for ensuring that over 1200 employees receive their compensation accurately and punctually. If you possess a keen eye for detail, experience with financial systems, and a commitment to upholding our organizational values, this position may be an excellent fit for you.
In this role, you will report to the Payroll Manager and collaborate with the existing Payroll Officer and Senior Payroll Officer to support the administration of payroll and pension systems for NCHA Group.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing both manual and computerized records and reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the operation of relevant control accounts and systems, such as payroll and pensions.
- Preparing and processing necessary system entries.
- Extracting and analyzing data from financial systems.
- Supporting the production of statutory and other financial accounts.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers by addressing general payroll inquiries.

Our ideal candidate will not only have relevant payroll expertise but will also embody NCHA's CLEAR values and demonstrate initiative while working within a small team.
This position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work part of your week from home based on business needs. Full training and development will be provided to the successful candidate.
