Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Admissions Supervisor to join our team at Community Hospice & Palliative Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the admissions process, ensuring timely and accurate referrals, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience Center to ensure seamless referral transmission and timely admissions.
  • Provide prompt and effective service recovery to accounts as needed.
  • Function as a positive role model and leader, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Monitor and report quality improvement and corporate compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and state and federal guidelines for Hospice programs.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with referral sources.
  • Attend regular staff and team meetings, promoting agency image and community engagement.
  • Pursue professional growth through academic and continuing education programs.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida.
  • Current State of Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Minimum of three years of Hospice Admissions experience.
  • Competent in computer programs and reporting.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
  • Healthcare-related certification.
  • Knowledge of customer service and marketing techniques.
