Corrie Recruitment is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Sub-Agent for a permanent role.

The successful applicant will possess a background in Civil Engineering, particularly within the marine industry.

An appealing salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 is available, alongside standard company benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation and development of engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Preparation of bid documentation.
  • Oversight of maintenance and construction activities to guarantee safety and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaboration with various departments to ensure all facilities receive necessary maintenance and inspections.
  • As the Duty Port Engineer, you will be required to be on standby every third weekend.

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of HNC/HND in Civil Engineering is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • Experience in maritime or coastal engineering is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in managing civil, mechanical, and electrical construction and maintenance projects.
  • In-depth understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
  • Experience in developing risk assessments and method statements.
  • Strong communication skills are crucial for addressing customer concerns and effectively directing maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in drafting tender specifications, work scopes, and Bills of Quantities.
