Centre Coordinator

As a key member of the Centre team, you will play a pivotal role in providing coordination, planning, support, and administrative assistance across the Centre. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will work closely with Communications & Engagement Officer, Centre's academic leadership, and core research staff team. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the Centre's programme of awarding small grants to Early Career Researchers, training and capacity building, and policy engagement activities. You will also support the Centre Manager in monitoring and evaluating progress of projects and compiling reports for key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate projects working with a range of stakeholders, demonstrating knowledge of project coordination requirements and tools.
- Arrange, service, and facilitate meetings and events, including preparation of programmes/agendas, coordinating invitations, and effective communication with contributors and delegates.
- Provide administrative support, including financial administration, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and implement effective planning and organisational systems, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent non-UK qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in project coordination, financial administration, and event management.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2027. The interview date will be confirmed separately.
