About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Deputy Manager to join our team at The Works. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer experience, and developing our team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume store leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and achieving commercial targets.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding retail experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance store standards.
  • Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential, providing regular feedback and support to ensure they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, sharing best practices and expertise to drive store performance.
  • Manage stock levels, merchandise displays, and visual merchandising to create an engaging and inviting store environment.

Requirements

  • Proven retail leadership experience, with a track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of retail operations, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to creating a positive, inclusive store culture.
