Job Summary:
Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill a Charge Nurse position at a 95-bedded forensic hospital. The successful candidate will support the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act who have a diagnosis of mental health, personality disorder, and/or learning disability needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act
- Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of patients with complex mental health needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH) with at least 2 years post-qualification UK experience within a forensic mental health setting
- Valid NMC PIN
- Up-to-date training certificates
- UK Resident
- Right to work in the UK
- Clean and clear DBS
