Senior Block Manager

Harte Consulting - Property & Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Block Manager to lead our new Block Management division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company and become part of the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee property operations and ensure the department meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Manage departmental growth and development, including recruitment, interview, selection, and evaluation of staff.
- Supervise and lead Property Managers, ensuring they maximize the use of property management software.
- Coordinate and prepare annual property budgets, review with Financial Controller and Managing Director.
- Analyse monthly performance and budget projections against annual plans, adjust strategies as needed.
- Enhance industry knowledge through publications, reports, and seminars.
- Collaborate with Developers on budgets and management for new developments.
- Participate in board meetings and serve on relevant committees to support department and organization goals.
- Stay updated on property management standards, legislation, and industry practices.
- Proven experience at residential block senior property manager level and managed a dedicated portfolio of developments.
- MTPI desirable but not essential.
- Minimum IRPM level qualification (essential).
- Property management related or relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree desirable but not essential.
- Associate RICS or higher RICS membership status desirable but not essential.
- Up to £40,000 salary + bonus scheme (can be negotiated higher for right experience).
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + no work over the Christmas period.
