Site Services Engineer

Our client, a prominent player in the food production sector, is in search of a Site Services Engineer to enhance their facilities and site services division.

This position is integral to a broader national network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and assessments of all site services and infrastructure.
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), system testing, and manage reactive and breakdown scenarios.
  • Engage with industrial boilers, steam systems, vacuum pumps, air compressors, and additional equipment.
  • Oversee Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants, water and effluent management, refrigeration, HVAC, and utility services.
  • Spearhead site services initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Handle pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related systems.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a diverse skill set as an engineer with expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • A minimum of NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 certification is required.
  • Experience in refrigeration systems utilizing CO2, ammonia, and glycol is essential.
  • Background in high-care food manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with industrial boilers and BOAS certification is preferred.
  • 17th or 18th Edition qualification is a plus.
