Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at a small independent school in the High Peak area. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to provide individualized support to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Liaise with outside professionals and parents as required
  • Report on progress and incidents
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
