Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Service Technician to join our team. As a Mechanical Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical service, installation, commissioning, and repair work on a variety of special purpose machine tools.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform mechanical service, installation, commissioning, and repair work on special purpose machine tools.
  2. Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and repairs.
  3. Provide expert support on CNC machine tools, including lathes and machining centres.
  4. Carry out mechanical tasks such as ball screw and linear guide replacements, spindle exchanges, gib adjustment/scraping, and geometric alignments.
  5. Travel to customer sites across the UK and Europe as required to provide exceptional service.
  6. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in the service, installation, and commissioning of special purpose machinery.
  2. Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC systems.
  3. Strong mechanical engineering skills with a focus on precision and quality.
  4. Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as required.
  5. Full UK Driving Licence.
