Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer to join our team at Verto People. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment, including air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, and nitrogen generators.
  • Provide advice, diagnostics, and fault finding of compressed air systems and other equipment.
  • Install and maintain compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines in various manufacturing industries.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs on compressed air equipment.
  • Liaise with engineering departments and customers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven diagnostic skills in electrical and mechanical engineering systems.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Compressor Engineer, or similar.
  • Ability to maintain good professional relationships with customers.
  • Field service background in engineering with fault finding skills in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel the Midlands and surrounding areas.
