About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plant Operative at our facility in Hull. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of waste operations on our recycle processing site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the drying floor to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in hazard spotting activities and report any incidents to the Site Manager.
  • Load and unload bins and skips, and work within the waste process as required.
  • Operate equipment to assist recycling processes and maintain plant and machinery onsite.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, Supervisors, and Site Managers to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including 4 on 4 off shift patterns.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
  • Punctuality and a good level of English are essential.
  • Previous experience of working on fast-moving production lines is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
