We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Acorn Insurance and Financial Services Limited. As a key member of our L&D team, you will play a vital role in advancing our unique culture and enabling the success of our colleagues across the group.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, deliver, and measure learning solutions to meet the needs of our employees.
- Design and create engaging face-to-face and eLearning solutions using a variety of media, including Canva and Articulate 360.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand learning gaps and create effective solutions.
- Develop and deliver training programs that meet regulatory requirements and are delivered through our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Conduct train-the-trainer events to ensure that our employees have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Highly organized and able to work proactively to meet deadlines.
- Able to take complex information and break it down into understandable and engaging solutions.
- Knowledge and application of learning styles to create effective training programs.
- Visual design skills using a variety of media and the ability to storyboard.
- Proven track record in the development of training materials and supporting handouts.
- Knowledge of eLearning platforms and learning management systems.
- Ability to demonstrate return on investment.
- Understanding of MBTI or equivalent.
- CIPD qualified would be beneficial.
