Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines across our hospitals.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our clinical pharmacy team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication management, prescribing, and education. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication management and prescribing.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services and policies.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and patients on medication management and use.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A United Kingdom recognised Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Completed and passed the first year of the Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in IT and applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and EMIS.
