  7. Leading all cross-functional sourcing activity, as well as providing procurement training to upskill the wider team in professional procurement negotiations, strong cost control measures, and effective supplier management, promoting a LEAN methodology.
  8. Reporting into the CEO and Board, plus supporting them in achieving the 20% revenue growth plan, by delivering strategic and operational procurement excellence.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, Procurement Officer, Procurement Analyst, Purchasing Manager, Sourcing Manager, Lead Buyer, Senior Buyer, Buyer, or similar with previous exposure to differing product and service categories.
  2. Exceptional purchasing negotiation skills, with the ability to structure and execute complex multi-factor supplier agreements across an array of categories.
  3. Strategic and commercially focused mindset with the ability to drive forward overarching sourcing strategies that achieve maximum value and maximum savings/discounts for our clients.
  4. Highly skilled in implementing effective buying strategies, policies, and processes.
  5. Strongly adept at delivering sourcing provision change management programs and securing business-wide engagement for all procurement protocols.
  6. Ideally, you will have had some exposure to Agriculture, Farming, Agronomy, Ground care, Arboriculture, Fuel, Building Materials, Waste and Recycling, Plant Hire, Energy, or similar products and services procurement.
  7. Ideally, you will be CIPS level 4 or CIPS level 5 qualified or time served in a comparable purchasing role.
  8. Previous experience of working in a group purchasing organization (GPO), a Buying Group, a Collective Buying organization, a Farming Co-operative, or similar business, where products and services are purchased in high volumes would be advantageous.
  9. You will be a professional communicator with a strong commercial acumen.
