We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team at German Doner Kebab in Dundee, Scotland. As a key member of our Front of House team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality, and driving sales and profit growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Front of House team to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profit growth, including upselling and promoting our menu offerings.
- Monitor and control stock inventory, maintain accurate records, and analyze consumption patterns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations, and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Collaborate with the General Store Manager to coordinate all aspects of the Front of House, including staff scheduling, training, and development.
- Provide excellent customer service, respond to guest complaints, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular team meetings, provide feedback, and coach team members to improve performance and achieve goals.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of guest care, including greeting guests, organizing table reservations, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Perform other duties as required, including cash handling, petty cash management, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or Duty Manager in the food industry, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional guest service and driving sales and profit growth.
- Excellent leadership, motivational, and people skills, with the ability to coach and develop team members.
- Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
