We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to lead our dedicated trauma ward. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to make a real difference in the lives of patients recovering from trauma and spinal injuries.
As Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care within a collaborative and supportive environment. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dedicated nurses, ensuring high clinical standards are maintained throughout the ward.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, demonstrating specialist knowledge in trauma and orthopedic nursing.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring continuity of care for patients throughout their journey.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, therapists, and specialists, to deliver holistic patient care.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance patient outcomes and staff development.
- Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
- Extensive post-registration experience within a relevant specialty at Band 6 or equivalent.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in team coordination and workload management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
