Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and effective Anaesthetic Service at our Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the delivery of a safe and effective Anaesthetic Service, working closely with Consultants, Junior medical staff, and ACCPs.
  • Provide daytime and 1:8 on-call cover for the critical care unit, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Engage in clinical governance and quality improvement activities, contributing to the development of a robust service.
  • Participate in teaching, training, and supervision of anaesthetic trainees and medical students from Keele Medical School.
  • Develop and maintain a wide knowledge of all aspects of anaesthesia, ensuring a safe and effective service.
