Creative Support is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and highly driven individual to oversee our diverse range of social care services. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining a comprehensive overview of all operations, leading a dedicated team of managers, and playing a key role in the ongoing enhancement of services in the region.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Management of supported living services for individuals with learning disabilities and those on the autistic spectrum, including those with additional complex care and communication requirements.
  • Provision of community support for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health challenges.

The role requires a person-centred approach, characterized by a warm, confident, and professional demeanor. Extensive experience in staff and service management is essential. You will need to possess the vision, networking skills, and organizational capabilities to achieve excellent outcomes for our clients and to implement initiatives that connect service users with their local communities, enhancing our reputation.

As the Registered Manager with CQC, prior experience in this specific role is not mandatory; however, you must be a confident and accountable practitioner capable of translating quality standards into practice.

Key skills required include effective communication and engagement, demonstrating unconditional positive regard for those we support. You should be adept at drafting clear assessments, support plans, and guidelines while fostering a consistent and mutually supportive team environment.

Leadership capabilities are crucial, as you will need to guide your team with confidence, providing clear direction, supervision, and support. You will also engage positively and professionally with the families of those we support, their advocates, and other relevant agencies.

This position is based in a friendly, well-equipped office and involves regular direct interaction with service users, including attendance at person-centred reviews. You will oversee staff deployment and schedules, and flexibility in your working hours, including evenings and weekends, will be necessary.
